Antigonish MS Connection is a peer-support group affiliated with the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada. We host regular peer-support meet-ups at the People’s Place Library in Antigonish. Our meet-ups and yummy pot-lucks are a chance for anyone whose lives are affected by MS to meet and socialize with other folks in the same boat. Our informal meetings are where you can learn tips and tricks for coping with MS, talk about issues with people who have ‘been there’, and discover new resources for those struggling with MS. It’s also a chance to meet new friends, and to eat yummy food!
We welcome anyone whose lives have been touched by MS, including those living with MS, their caregivers, family members, friends or colleagues, or anyone with a personal connection to MS. All are welcome.
During our meetings and pot-lucks, we aim to create a supportive environment where those affected by MS are able to freely share their experiences, seek encouragement and connections with peers, discover advancement in treatment, and learn about resources in the Antigonish community that are relevant to those living with or affected by MS.
